- We believe that every child has the right to play regardless of religion or gender, tribe or nationality.
- We believe that hope and reconciliation to God and man comes through Christ Jesus alone who died and rose again for all who believe. We believe that this message has power that does not need to be enhanced by sports.
- We do NOT believe that sports should ever be used as a bribe or made mandatory for the sake of proselytization or be used to create superiority among churches, schools, or orphanages.
- We believe that schools, churches, and orphanages are the primary place for mentorship to occur within Rwanda and thus will be training individuals within these community groups to run sustainable sports programs.
- Therefore, Play For Hope allows children to participate in all sporting events regardless of religion or creed and gives no preference to children based on such. Following our events there will be an optional sharing of why we do what we do and how God has impacted our lives. The attendance of this message, while we believe extremely pertinent, will not be used in anyway to determine participation in sporting events.
